Step Two:
Go into Fusion 360 and click on units and change them to INCHES. Then after then click create and set your sizes 6in length x 2 1/2in width x 0.25in height. Step Three: Go into Adobe Illustrator and uses the text icon to create your name in what font you want. It MUST be less than 6x2 1/2 if you want it on your block. You can use any type of font as you please. Right click on all of you name and then select create outline, then click save as. Before you save you have to click SVG for your file type so that we can place it into Fusion 360. Step Four: Now go back to Fusion then there is a button at the top called insert so click it then it will have another tab with the same picture. You will click that image and then click your file. It should appear on your screen and you should adjust on you block. Step Five: Click extrude then you must click all of the letters using the command key and then type -0.025 for distance. Make sure it set to cut. Step Six: At the end of your hall pass you can place a hole by using draw pick circle tool, then when you have the place you want your circle to be you can size it to the size you want. When you have that all complete then click the exclude button then click the circle and type -0.25 in distance. |
