Digital Portfolio Design:
You will need to make a website for this class and it will serve as your online portfolio. This means you will post all of your assignments to your website. Just as what the name says, an online portfolio is a way for people (including your teacher) to analyze your works. Please note that as time progresses throughout this course, you will continue to build and display more material in your website.
*As always, please make sure that what you post online is tasteful and appropriate. What we say and do online leaves a permanent record called a "digital footprint". I do not want any of you to say or do anything on these webpages (or anywhere else) that will get you into trouble. Keep it school appropriate.

- Set the Name of your website as: ‘First name’ ‘Last Name’'Media Arts 11 or 12'
* The reason for this is that it will make it easier for me to find your website, hence I will be able to grade your work.
I will only mark websites that follow this format!

Assignment:
Create a page on your website titled "Biography or About Me".
Populate your "biography" page with
- A short description of yourself
- Pictures and descriptions of 3 of your interests (point out any interests you have that are related to the course material):
[PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT INFRINGING ON COPYRIGHT LAWS OR PLAGIARIZING/ USING SOMEONE'S WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION. You can avoid this when doing a Google search by going to "usage rights" and filtering it for reuse.]
- Pictures of you
- Any other information that you think would improve your Biography page.
- 2-3 YouTube videos of things that you think are funny or enjoy (keep school appropriate)
This extra information may seem frivolous, but it will give you the skills needed to upload your completed assignments, and embed your completed videos from YouTube.

2) Answer the following questions:
- Reflect on what was difficult and challenging about solving problems to create the desired outcomes.
- Talk about the highlights of coding--what were some of the "Aha! moments" that you've had?
- What made you excited?
- What made you feel accomplished?
- In your opinion, why do you think using language like this to create instructions for user inputs are an effective way/non-effective way to solve problems in today's society? Choose one side to argue. (Profile: Omit N/A Survey: think about If/Then/Else Statements Math: think about the organization and spacing of how you display information, Business: think about the indication of decimal places for real numbers Positioning: how does being able to place something at its exact location have a significant impact for other programming languages in the future?)
