***The word Democracy is actually derived from the Greek word "demos" meaning "the poor". Usually when you have a group consisting of many poor and few rich people running the government, the democratic system tries to break down in terms of power and wealth of the rich people.
The definition for this should be a form of government that is ruled by such people as described above but make decisions to TRY to benefit the common good.
