Digital Portfolio Design:
You will need to make a website for this class and it will serve as your online portfolio. This means you will post all of your assignments to your website. Just as what the name says, an online portfolio is a way for people (including your teacher) to analyze your works. Please note that as time progresses throughout this course, you will continue to build and display more material in your website.
*As always, please make sure that what you post online is tasteful and appropriate. What we say and do online leaves a permanent record called a "digital footprint". I do not want any of you to say or do anything on these webpages (or anywhere else) that will get you into trouble. Keep it school appropriate.

Step #1:
- Go to DCSS PeaceNet and log in. Choose PeaceNet Websites (Note: You MUST be on either Firefox or Google Chrome in order for this to work)
- On the left hand side of the page should be a "New Google Sites" option. Select that.
- Once you reach the new webpage, on the bottom right hand corner should be a (+) symbol. Click that.
You should be able to reach your blank website template at this point.
- On the top left hand corner, rename your website to the following format: First Name Last Name Course and Grade. (e.g. Randy Chau Media Arts 11/12)
YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS FORMAT. If you don't I won't know who the website belongs to when it gets shared with me and therefore it won't get marked!!!

Create a page on your website titled "Biography or About Me".
Populate your "biography" page with
- A short description of yourself
- Pictures and descriptions of 3 of your interests (point out any interests you have that are related to the course material):
[PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT INFRINGING ON COPYRIGHT LAWS OR PLAGIARIZING/ USING SOMEONE'S WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION. You can avoid this when doing a Google search by going to "usage rights" and filtering it for reuse.]
